Barstool Chicago Film/TV Car Draft Grades

Round 1 Pick 1: The Delorean, Eddie

This totally makes sense at first overall. It is an iconic car and it can time travel, what more could you want? I don't know what else would have gone here, great job to not botch it.

Grade: A+

Round 1 Pick 2: Batmobile, Robbie

Any Batmobile would have been a good pick, but the '66 one is pretty sweet. It may not have the gadgets that more modern cars have, but it is much classier. It has a convertible and the nice red paint on it. Just a sleek-looking car, good pick.

Grade: A

Round 1 Pick 3: Shaggin Wagon, Dave

This is a solid pick, but I think it is over-drafted at third overall. It is funny and definitely iconic, but I don't think it is as good as some other fictional vehicles. One thing that is good about it is that it is unique, definitely sticks out more than most vehicles.

Grade: B

Round 1 Pick 4: ECTO-1, Clem

Great start to the draft from Clem here. Everyone likes Ghostbusters and their car is pretty cool. It isn't the sweetest looking car, but it is definitely iconic. I think everyone will like seeing this and it will certainly bring back fond memories.

Grade: A

Round 1 Pick 5: Mr. Frye's Ferrari (Ferris Bueller), Chief

Now this is a thing of beauty. There is nothing technically cool about it like some of the ones that have already been picked, but I would certainly love to own this vehicle.

Grade: A

Round 2 Pick 1: Drama's Lincoln, Chief

Decent pick from Chief. It is a nice car, but honestly not even the most iconic car from the show, which I believe is Turtle's Hummer. I understand the Lincoln is the car from the show's intro, but it feels like it went to high at number 6.

Grade: B

Round 2 Pick 2: Explorer, Clem

Solid pick. It is definitely synonymous with the Jurassic Park franchise. It is a solid looking vehicle and is in one of the most famous scenes in movie history. I think it is in a good spot here in the second round.

Grade: A

Round 2 Pick 3: Bluesmobile, Dave

This is a decent choice, but I think it was taken a bit too high. The car is pretty cool and unique, but I just don't think it is on quite the same level as some others that have not been selected yet.

Grade: B

Round 2 Pick 4: Bond Aston Martin, Robbie

Now this is a nice car. It is both powerful and classy. Bond always has a nice car and this is no exception. Great pick from Robbie.

Grade: A

Round 2 Pick 5: Mirthmobile, Eddie

Decent pick. It doesn't know my socks off, but it is unique. It is a funny-looking car and it stands out. It also has a few famous scenes. Overall a good, but not great pick.

Grade: B

Round 3 Pick 1: Griswold Station Wagon, Eddie

I like the pick. This car has gone through a lot over the years and it is certainly iconic. It is obviously not the flashiest or nicest car on the list, but it is probably the one that is closest to most of our childhood vehicles, which gives it some nostalgia.

Grade: A

Round 3 Pick 2: The Mystery Machine, Robbie

This is a great pick in the third round. I would have considered this in the first round tbh. To me, it is the most iconic vehicle from anyone's childhood. Scooby-Doo is a show that generations grew up on and the Mystery Machine is awesome.

Grade: A+

Round 3 Pick 3: Optimus Prime, Dave

Kinda rough to not even pick the most popular car from the Transformers series. He should have picked Bumblebee. I had a problem even remembering what Optimus Prime looked like in truck form, but I instantly know Bumblebee. Not a great pick, I feel like the truck form of Optimus Prime is not iconic.

Grade: D

Round 3 Pick 4: Bluth Stair Car, Clem

Incredible pick from Clem. I love the stair car and I love Arrested Development. This car is just so funny and has its own iconic moments. Overall just a funny and iconic vehicle.

Grade: A

Round 3 Pick 5: Plymouth from Tommy Boy, Chief

Certainly not the best car on the list, but it is one of the funniest. I don't think it will receive incredible support, but it is a solid pick in the third round.

Grade: B-

Round 4 Pick 1: Greased Lightning, Chief

This is a fine pick. I think there were some better ones on the board, but the car is nice. It looks good, it can fly apparently, and is overall solid. Not much to say about it.

Grade: B+

Round 4 Pick 2: Magic School Bus, Clem

Great pull right here. The magic school bus is probably second to the Mystery Machine when it comes to vehicles that shaped my childhood. It is probably the most versatile vehicle on this list and it is awesome. Great pick in the fourth round.

Grade: A

Round 4 Pick 3: Charger, Dave

The pick isn't terrible because the car is iconic. But it does have a huge red flag. Well, I guess a huge red, white, and blue flag. But besides that, it is a good pick, but it won't do well on the graphic for obvious reasons.

Grade: C

Round 4 Pick 4: The Pussywagon, Robbie

This pick isn't amazing to me. The car is unique, but I feel like Kill Bill is a movie that is typically forgotten and the car doesn't really stick out to me. Although, the fuzzy dice were a nice touch, so I can't bring it down too much.

Grade: C-

Round 4 Pick 5: Good Burger Mobile, Eddie

I like the pick. The car is hilarious and just reminds me of a great movie. Plus, it seems right as a fourth round selection. Good pick from Eddie.

Grade: A-

Round 5 Pick 1: Walter White Pontiac, Eddie

Tough pick for Eddie here. He picked the second most iconic car from Breaking Bad, which is tough. I would barely consider the Pontiac to be iconic. But the RV is. Just a tough scene all-around right here.

Grade: C

Round 5 Pick 2: Plymouth Junkerola, Robbie

Great value in the fifth round. Homer Simpson's car was already iconic from the cartoon, but it became even more iconic when it was part of a video game. The pink car has been a staple for over thirty years and it will continue to be so as the show moves on.

Grade: A

Round 5 Pick 3: The Crystal Ship, Dave

Great pick from Dave. This is the most iconic vehicle in one of the most famous shows in TV history. It is one of the focal points of the plot and it is an RV. It is funny looking, which I think makes it more iconic and more memorable.

Grade: A+

Round 5 Pick 4: Lightning McQueen, Clem

Wow! Did not see this one coming, but it is an incredible pick by Clem. Lightning McQueen will do well, especially in younger generations. The Cars series is incredible and very funny. Great fifth-rounder.

Grade: A+

Round 5 Pick 5: Rust Cohle's Truck, Chief

This one was a bit of a head-scratcher to me. It is only in one season of a show and there isn't anything that really stands out about it. Just felt like Chief wanted the show on the board and didn't pick for the vehicle itself.

Grade: D

I think our titan wins again as Clem simply has too many quality picks to be overtaken. Both Robbie and Eddie also had solid drafts, but I feel Clem's brands he drafted give him an overall advantage.

Predicted Winner: Clem
