Barstool Chicago Coolest Dudes Draft Grades

It is time for a new style of draft grades. Instead of an individual grade for each pick, I will go over each person's best pick, their worst pick, and then grade their board overall. I also may add a little extra commentary when necessary. I hope to eventually go back to more in-depth grades when I have more time.

Dave

Best Pick: Matthew McConaughey                                                      

This was a pretty obvious first overall pick. McConaughey is universally seen as a cool guy. It was a layup.

Worst Pick: Justin Timberlake

This is a weird pick, especially in the second round. Maybe I am too young, but I have never seen Justin Timberlake as a "cool dude". I mean he popped Janet Jackson's boob out and dated Britney Spears, but that was then. Now he really just isn't that cool.

Grade: C+

Chief

Best Pick: Clint Eastwood

Great pick from Chief, especially in the fifth round. In all honesty, I didn't love any of his picks up until Eastwood. There were a few solid ones, but nothing to write home about. Clint is a cool guy and has kept that image for decades.

Worst Pick: Chris Chelios

I don't really care who you are, it is very hard to win by picking a hockey player unless they are a massive star. Chelios is not one of those guys.

Eddie

Best Pick: Nolan Ryan

Yup Nolan Ryan is a really cool dude. That fight was probably one of the coolest things in baseball history. But other than that he just seems like a big ol country boy, which is kinda cool.

Worst Pick: Frank Sinatra

I think Sinatra is more suave than cool. I think that makes sense. Like when I think cool I think of a  rough and tough guy. Sinatra is a little too clean-cut to be cool in my opinion.

Carl

Best Pick: John Daly

I mean hell yeah John Daly is a cool dude. I had problems picking who the best pick was because there were a few good ones. But just smoking cigs, hitting bombs, and the mullet just makes Daly one of a kind.

Worst Pick: Leo

So Leo plays a lot of cool dudes in movies, but I don't think he is actually that cool of a dude in real life. Also, the dating thing is kinda weird and not as dude-like. Just my two cents. 

Overall, Carl definitely has the best draft out of anyone here. Leo is his worst pick and I really don't think it is that bad. Teddy was a sneaky good pick, Steve Austin is awesome, and Mickey Mantle is pretty cool as well.

Jake

Best Pick: Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold is a very cool guy. He is an absolute unit, he is hilarious, and he was the governor of California. He is just cool and very well-liked by everyone. He also has a great accent. This doesn't even include his action movies which make him a bit cooler, but I don't want to take that into consideration since that isn't really him.

Worst Pick: Elon Musk

So Elon Musk is interesting, but he is a complete weirdo. Even if you are a fan of his, you would have to agree with that. He does do some cool things though.

Grade: C-

Honestly, I don't think it is that close Carl wins in a landslide.
